In this rigorous practice we will be getting up close and personal with the floor, your limits to gravity will be constantly tested, and instinctively our reflexes will kick into high gear as we throttle as one. My main goal for our time together is to get you out of your head and into your body. Once we start we’re not going to stop. I invite you to unlock the amphibious creature that exists primally inside each of us as we explore the depths of our physicality through being and breath. Class will start with a thorough warm up meant to target your cardiovascular health and stamina with the core and functional base deriving from yogic teachings. We will then continue with floor work methodology both in the center and across the floor. Ultimately, we finish off with heroic and dynamic phrase work to powerful, invigorating music because why not?

ABOUT Kiley Dolaway (USA)

Kiley Dolaway was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Kiley received her BFA from the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College. Additionally, she attended Springboard Danse Montréal in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, Kiley joined VIM VIGOR DANCE COMPANY under the artistic direction of Shannon Gillen. Through the years, she has taught at The Juilliard School, NYU, Fordham Ailey, Purchase College, Springboard Danse Montreal, Deltebre Dansa, The University of Michigan, Princeton University, and so on. In 2022, Kiley joined Tanz Kassel of Staatstheater Kassel as a company member. She has performed works by Ohad Naharin, Johannes Wieland, Peter Chu, Andonis Foniadakis, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Sita Ostheimer, Kristel Vanissum, Sidra Bell, and many others.

Nivel: NIVEL INTERMEDIO / AVANZADO de diferentes disciplinas (INICIACIÓN TAMBIÉN BIENVENIDA si tienes una buena motivación ;-)
Dirigido a: Bailarines, estudiantes de danza de niveles intermedios y avanzados, gente de circo, movers, artistas marciales, practicantes de yoga y personas interesadas en el movimiento. Movers con alta motivación para aprender nuevas trayectorias de movimiento.

Intensivo de Acro-danza con Kiley Dolaway

En esta rigurosa práctica, nos acercaremos al suelo, pondremos a prueba constantemente tus límites de gravedad e instintivamente nuestros reflejos se pondrán a toda marcha mientras aceleramos como uno solo. Mi objetivo principal durante el tiempo que pasaremos juntos es sacarte de tu cabeza y llevarte a tu cuerpo. Una vez que comencemos, no nos detendremos. Te invito a liberar la criatura anfibia que existe primordialmente dentro de cada uno de nosotros mientras exploramos las profundidades de nuestra fisicalidad a través del ser y la respiración. La clase comenzará con un calentamiento completo destinado a apuntar a tu salud cardiovascular y resistencia con la base funcional y central derivada de las enseñanzas yóguicas. Luego continuaremos con la metodología de trabajo de suelo tanto en el centro como a lo ancho del suelo. Finalmente, terminaremos con un trabajo de frase heroico y dinámico con música poderosa y vigorizante, porque ¿por qué no?
